Andi, owner of HICL, has worked in the building industry for nearly 20 years and has a broad knowledge and skills base, specialising in qualified carpentry. He also has many years experience of interpreting structural plans. Many of our clients often comment on Andi’s ability to spot a solution to a problem that perhaps even the architect has missed.

He is not only very good at his job, but customers frequently end up becoming friends with him owing to his fun and caring personality. He is supported by his wife, Debra, who holds the fort in the office.

Extension, Renovation & Conversion

An existing customer, who had originally used our services in 2010 to build his own home extension and loft conversion, called upon HICL again to convert a garage at the same property.

Whilst this work was underway, he approached us about another property in need of renovation to build a rear kitchen extension. The customer was so pleased with HICL’s continued commitment and quality of work, the project soon developed into a full internal refurbishment throughout the house and the construction of an en suite loft conversion.

Internal Refurbishment & Extension

HICL carried out an internal refurbishment project in Surbiton, which involved the removal of a load bearing wall to create a more spacious, open plan kitchen diner, the fitting of a new staircase and decorating throughout the house.

Impressed with HICL’s efficiency and quality of work, our customer enquired about an extension that he was considering. Our second proposal included all the elements required to complete the project. Our customer now enjoys a single storey rear extension which has transformed his whole home and compliments the initial work carried out.
