An Efficient Kitchen & Living Room Refurbishment for a Growing Family
30 May 2025

Project Overview:

Earlier this year, we were approached by a local couple seeking a full home renovation. At the time, they decided to postpone the project due to budget and timing constraints. However, a few months later; now expecting their first child, they returned to us with a revised plan and a clear priority: refurbish the kitchen, dining, and living areas quickly, without compromising on quality.

At Home Improvements & Construction Ltd (HICL) Builders, we understand that life doesn’t pause for home renovations. With a baby on the way, it was essential that this project was completed swiftly and smoothly. Our team devised a detailed 3-week schedule to transform the key family spaces—turning dated rooms into a modern, warm, and functional hub for family life.

Client Objectives:

The work included a full kitchen refurbishment with upgraded cabinetry, appliances, and lighting; new flooring and plastering throughout the dining and living rooms; and a sleek, cohesive design that seamlessly connected all three spaces. By carefully managing trades, deliveries, and inspections, we stayed on schedule without ever cutting corners.

The end result? A stylish, inviting and practical open-plan area, ready just in time to welcome their new arrival.

At HICL Builders, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality results, even on tight timelines. Whether you’re planning ahead or your circumstances change, our team is always ready to help bring your vision to life; with professionalism, precision, and care.
